The Ica, also known as Isha, are a small Yoruba subgroup. Unlike the Yoruba, who mainly live in Nigeria, the Ica are in Benin.
About two-thirds of the Ica are farmers. They grow peanuts, yams, corn, cassava, peppers, sesame, cashews, cospeas, soybeans, peas, pigeonpeas, fruits and cotton.
The Ica adhere to traditional religion, but they do have a Christian presence as well.
The Ica people need local medical facilities.
Pray for Ica disciples who will make more disciples.
Pray for spiritual hunger that will drive the Ica people to seek and find the only savior.
Pray for an abundant crop for Ica farmers this year as a testimony of his power and goodness.
